Metal v Rap

I found this article by Duane D Aubin [click on post title] on an Iron Maiden fan site. In a sound and well researched academic approach, it compares heavy metal and rap music, and finds them to have remarkably similar roots. It concludes with lyrics from their songs, and also from some Christian songs. An unusual mix, but worth reading.
